DEMANDING CLIMATE JUSTICE
Climate Justice is a grassroots effort to build local community power through slow, strategic, and sustainable skill sharing.
Climate justice means thoughtfully amplifying and co-creating justice for frontline communities, bridging silos through science literacy and skill/resource sharing, showing up via mutual aid and direct action to support critical issues, and cultivating communities of care through hyperlocal IRL and digital partnership cultivation rooted in somatic grounding.
It is a movement to shift grassroots organizers away from urgent and reactive mobilizing by providing longterm skill-building opportunities that allow communities to grow the shared knowledge and practice required to defend themselves against increasing attempts by the state to incarcerate and exhaust community organizers and resources.
Our goal is to increase knowledge and confidence of skills required for longterm community resistance, rooted in long-term joy.
