Attacks on community members we love are becoming more violent while resources for bold action takers and local leadership are being eliminated. Things are already bad and we must continue to prepare to meet critical needs.
In response to cascading attacks on abortion, gender, undocumented peoples and organizing, increasing inaccess to care, and escalating climate disasters, Seeding Sovereignty is on the frontline and this year we must scale.
From 2020-2025 we have redistributed more than $2,500,000 in grants and supplies.
Dollars fund our mission to act fast while we grow new systems of care and agency led by those most impacted.
Through our online network we hear from communities on the ground whose critical needs are chronically unmet by failing, racist systems.
Our work begins at the roots and nurtures community leaders who are in and of the communities they serve. communities to build systems and momentum for generations to come. As community members with a large network and trust cultivated and earned over time by showing up and following through, we are reached out to and also reach out to those in need - listening (not assuming) what are the needs from the communities and being nimble enough to respond.
