CAP is a new movement tool that makes coordinated local policy action accessible, fun, and community-driven.

CAP combines:

  • Community-fueled digital actions

  • In-person community building

Two photos: a large group of young people posing together indoors, and a smaller group seated in discussion.
  • Webinars

Two webinar slides: 'Introduction' explaining the Community Action Portal series, and 'How Ideas Become Laws' asking viewers to share where they're listening from.
  • Civic Action Tools

Did you know that 76 climate bills in NYC died without a hearing, last year alone? We’re tired of waiting for our elected to do the right thing.

It’s time for us to step in and fight for changes we believe we can make happen – together. The system is inaccessible and confusing, so we built our own.

We all benefit from connecting with our neighbors, tapping into our community, and feeling empowered through access to the tools to make change happen now.

“So many brilliant minds and thinking about how we maximize what already exists in city politics and how do we harness political activation and energy.”
