DEMANDING CLIMATE JUSTICE
Climate Justice is a grassroots effort to build local community power through slow, strategic, and sustainable skill sharing. Climate justice means thoughtfully amplifying and co-creating justice for frontline communities, bridging silos through science literacy and skill/resource sharing, showing up via mutual aid and direct action to support critical issues, and cultivating communities of care through hyperlocal IRL and digital partnership cultivation rooted in somatic grounding.
It is a movement to shift grassroots organizers away from urgent and reactive mobilizing by providing long term skill building opportunities that allow community to grow the shared knowledge and practice required to defend themselves against increasing attempts by the state to incarcerate and exhaust community organizers and resources.
Our goal is to increase knowledge and confidence of skills required for long term community resistance, rooted in long-term joy.

Super Sessions is Seeding Sovereignty's new quarterly event series that brings our climate justice podcast to life via dynamic conversations and practical mini-workshops to build warm community and shared knowledge for climate resilience.
Super Series
Super Series is our monthly feature of climate superheroes making change in their communities.
Science Literacy + Resource Sharing
We democratize climate justice information, climate and microplastics public health science, and climate resiliency pathways.
Through digital education, IRL community events and actions, and constant collaborative cross-pollination with our community both hyper-locally and globally, we are building a resource base that is accessible, not reliant on purposefully gate-kept research, and uplifts and amplifies the voices and work of those in their communities fighting for climate justice.
Grassroots Organizing
We are on the ground in NYC organizing around climate justice, emergency response, building resiliency, abortion access for reproductive justice, the movement for a free Palestine, and stopping the building of Cop City in Queens.
We are building the youth power base for New York City youths and community members who we engage, skill up, network and mentor to fuel grassroots momentum for immediate and long term systemic change.
We are developing a skill-building Youth Climate Justice Training Program with modules for empowerment, intersectionality and activation for New York City QTBIPOC high school students, that strengthens the voice and representation of and inspire rising youth leadership.
