Climate Week NYC!

Climate Week NYC!

Climate Week NYC is in full swing, and we're right in the heart of it!

Seeding Sovereignty is thrilled to be here, participating in the biggest Climate March since 2014 and collaborating with frontline activists and organizations on several important events. It's an exciting time, and we'd love for you to be a part of it.

Climate Week NYC is an incredible opportunity to meet other people and to push the needle on climate legislation and activism. The following events are ones Seeding Sovereignty has a hand in. If you're able to attend any of the events we're hosting, please say hello.

If you want to support the Climate March, drop a line to Madeleine at madeleine@seedingsovereignty.org. Even if you can't make the events, but would like to support, you can still make a difference by donating to our Climate Fund.

FEMINIST x SEEDING SOVEREIGNTY SALON

Thursday, September 14 from 6-8p ET.

Private Event.

Seeding Sovereignty and FEMINIST have teamed up to host 30 climate and environmental justice frontline activists, artists and change makers.

We’re catalyzing intersectional climate conversations in a critically needed safe organizing space for strategy and networking in advance of Sunday’s New York City Climate March.

Though this event is not open to the general public, we can’t wait to share what we learn in our conversations and now we build collaboration outside of individual silos beyond the Climate March for a more just future.

Tokala provides a platform for conversation around climate and social justice issues through stunning documentary photography highlighting BIPOC youth organizers alongside the stories of the regions and communities they are fighting for. Featuring twelve activists across ten cities, the series illustrates differences in climate, lifestyle, and the through line of injustice that connects them. The objective of this project is to show these subjects in their power and spotlight the importance of their activism to new audiences.
