Climate Policy Action Salon: Launch Event for Community Building
The time is now! Federal climate policy is being gutted and we are more empowered than ever to organize together.
We are welcoming folks from across the NYC climate policy advocacy landscape to gather in the same room for a very interactive evening of community building, collaborative problem-solving, sustained action, and the launch of Seeding’s new program, the Climate Policy Action Portal.
This is the type of thing we’re all excited to do but don’t get to do often – to go deep and tackle our challenges together. This is about supporting our shared mission(s), incubating solutions, and learning new tools for real sustained action to move climate justice policy forward.
Hosted by Seeding Sovereignty at the Chilli Activist Basecamp @ The Bench

Joy Through Art as Radical Resistance with Arielle King
Bring friends, and bring textiles (clothes, totes, etc) to screenprint on!
Seeding Sovereignty will host a participatory art practice centering joy and play for exhausted activists.
While Climate marches often host art builds to create banners and signs for protests, participants in this workshop will create with others and leave with a deeply personal art piece to carry with them and remind them that they are deserving of joy and play even in very troubled times.
Hosted by Arielle King, environmental educator/leader and host of Intersectional Environmentalist podcast The Joy Report.

This event is part of downtown climate action club — a three-day hub for climate impact creators, hosted by chilli.club and The Bench.
